Product Description
Low-E float glass is a high-performance coated glass designed to reflect infrared light while allowing visible light to pass through, improving energy efficiency and indoor comfort. It is divided into two series: colorless transparent Low-E glass and colored Low-E (Sun-E) glass. Colorless transparent glass, commonly used in middle and high latitudes, has visible light transmittance higher than 70%, effectively keeping indoor spaces bright while minimizing heat gain. Colored Low-E glass is suitable for low latitudes, providing solar shading while preventing heat loss.
Using advanced vacuum sputtering coating technology, multiple layers—including silver, anti-reflective tin oxide, and nickel-chromium alloy—are applied to the glass surface. The silver layer reflects infrared rays, the base layer improves transparency, and the top protective layer preserves the coating integrity. This results in excellent thermal insulation, high transparency, low reflectivity, energy savings, and UV protection.
